At Agroval we take care of the personal data you share with us. This policy explains what data we collect through agroval.cl, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Chilean Law No. 19,628 on the Protection of Private Life and, once in force, Law No. 21,719 on personal data protection.
1. Data controller

2. What data we collect
We only process the data needed to handle your request:
- Data you provide in our contact forms: name, company, position, country or location, email and phone.
- Commercial information about your inquiry: fruit, variety, hectares, volumes, buying window, destination market and your message.
- Data from communications you start with us by email or WhatsApp.
- Basic technical browsing data (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) logged by our hosting providers for security and operation.
3. How we use it
- To answer your inquiries and get in touch with you.
- To assess and manage a business relationship: fruit marketing, supply programs and related services.
- To send you information related to your request.
- To comply with legal obligations and keep the site secure.
4. Legal basis
We process your data because you give us your consent when you submit a form or write to us, because it is necessary for pre-contractual steps you request, or because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for their own commercial purposes. We only share it with:
- Technology providers that supply web hosting, email and data storage services, acting on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations. Some may be located outside Chile; in that case we seek to ensure they provide an adequate level of protection.
- Authorities, when required by law or court order.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and manage the business relationship, and afterwards for the periods required by law. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, rectification or deletion of your data, or object to its processing. Once Law No. 21,719 is in force, you may also request its portability and the temporary blocking of its processing.
To exercise your rights, write to contacto@agroval.cl with your name and request. We will reply within the time limits set by law.
8. Cookies
The site only uses technical cookies needed for it to work, for example to remember your language. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to information.
10. Minors
This site is aimed at companies and professionals in the fruit industry. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes in our services. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date.
